Daily reminder that Caroline mattered more to Klaus than revenge did.
Some are saying there was no Klaroline in the ep.
When she said she felt bad about Klaus I died.
Shutting a door in Damon’s face couldn’t get me to hate Caroline. Won’t even make me bat an eye. They are always at each other’s throats. Like when he yanked her arms behind her back. This is their back and forth. I see them as ex’s. They don’t have to be nice to each other.
“You don’t have to be a Ripper, Stefan. When you feel the blood rushing you tell yourself that your going to get through it, that your strong enough.”
“I never wanted to hurt anyone, Stefan.” She was crying now. He couldn’t bear her pain.
“I know, Caroline… I know.”

- Chick: My husband likes to get kinky,
- Connor: What happened to your neck?
- Matt: My girlfriend went a little overboard.
Caroline- There is a bird in a cage beneath her.
I interpret it as representing her never seeing a life beyond Mystic Falls. Like a bird never seeing life beyond a cage, until Klaus told her that it doesn’t have to be that way.
Under that is says love is sacrifice.
Think of all the things she would have to sacrifice to be with Klaus.
JUST SAYIN. Her friends wouldn’t believe it.
About the Klaus’ ex thing
- I hope Caroline gets jealous.
- I love that Klaus had the capability, it shows that he not only has a lot of love toward his family, but that he also had relationship potential. I think that we can see more into Klaus’ character.
- I think it will show another side to Klaus we haven’t seen and that is very exciting.
- We should have expected this. I mean come on… Its Joseph Morgan.
I realize Damon never apologized aloud to Caroline.
But I think taking the wolf bite for her was his way…
